Our story
The portfolio tracker we wanted, but couldn't find.
Chain Glance started with a frustration. A small team of developers and DeFi users was managing crypto portfolios across multiple chains, protocols, and wallets. We had tokens on Ethereum, staked ETH on Lido, LP tokens in Uniswap pools, NFTs scattered across collections, rewards accumulating on Curve. Every tax season, the same nightmare: manually exporting transactions from 10+ different platforms, trying to calculate cost basis, and hoping nothing was missed.
We looked for solutions. Some portfolio trackers were bloated with features nobody used. Others couldn't track DeFi positions properly. The tax tools required manual data entry. They couldn't manage addresses across multiple L2 chains.
That's when we realized: no one was building for DeFi users who actually cared about tax compliance and privacy. So we built it ourselves. Read-only. Multi-chain. DeFi-native. Tax-ready. From day one.
